Automate - Using File Libraries

Introduction

Rampiva Automate 5.5 introduces a new feature, File Libraries, to store files that will be used in workflows that run in the system. File Libraries are designed to store any type of Nuix profile, along with the capability to store other files such as Excel report templates or Relativity JSON files.

Prerequisites 

  • Rampiva Automate v5.5 or later


Instructions

A. Creating a File Library

From the Settings page, select File Libraries from the settings tree.

Click the Add + button to create a new File Library.

Name the File Library and provide a description.

In the bottom right, click Add Library.

 

B. Add Nuix Profiles to the File Library

Click Add + File and browse to where the Nuix Profiles are stored.

Typical profile locations for Nuix profiles include:

  • C:\ProgramData\Nuix\Metadata Profiles

  • C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Nuix

  • C:\Program Files\Nuix\Nuix 9.2\user-data

Click the Add +File button to add the selected file.

Once the file is added, a detailed change log is displayed.

Continue to add profiles as applicable.

C. Adding Other Files

Click Add + File and browse to where the additional files are stored. The default location for the Rampiva Automate Report Template is: C:\Users\username\.rampiva\Workflow for Nuix\Templates.

Click the Add +File button to add the selected file.

Once the file is added, a detailed change log is displayed.

D. Adding File Library files to an Execution Profile.

From the Settings page, select Execution Profiles from the settings tree.

Select and Edit the desired Execution Profile.

Scroll to the Nuix Profiles section.

Click the + button under Nuix Profiles to display a list of files available in the File Library

Repeat the process if additional profiles are required.

Similar to adding Nuix Profiles, add any additional file from the File Library that are required by the workflow.
