Automate - Configure Relativity Service

Introduction

This document outlines the steps required to connect Rampiva Automate to a Relativity instance. Adding a Relativity instance allows for additional functionality to retrieve workspaces and other Relativity information when executing workflows.

Prerequisites 

  • Rampiva Premium or Corporate Edition

  • Relativity administrative credentials


Instructions

A. Add Relativity Service

In Rampiva Automate navigate to the Third-Party Services option under Settings.

Click Add + Relativity Service

Provide a name and optional description for the Relativity Service

Typically named for the Relativity Cluster or Instance name.

Select the Authentication to be used

Username/Password is the default setting. When using OAUTH2Client, a Relativity User Service must also be configured. See Rampiva KB Article to configure a Relativity User Service

Provide the Relativity Hostname value for the Relativity Service

Select the Endpoint type by selecting either HTTP or HTTPS

Select the REST version to use by selecting either RSAPI (Legacy), REST (v1 Latest), or REST (Server 2021)

Specify the Import thread information: Import Threads, Import Thread Timeout, Import Thread Retries, Metadata Threads.

Select the Custom Client Version if applicable.

Click Save to add the Relativity Service.

 

B. Authenticate with the Relativity Server

Select the Relativity Service under Settings > Third-Party Services.

Select the pull-down from the Relativity Service card.

Select Relativity User Sign In.

Enter the Relativity credentials for the Relativity Service connection.

Click Sign In to complete the authentication.
