Introduction

This article guides a user through the license acquisition process in Rampiva Workflow version 6 and above.

Contact support@rampiva.com if you experience issues applying for the license.

Prerequisites

  • Nuix Workstation 7.8 or later

  • Valid Nuix Workstation, NMS, or CLS license

  • Nuix Management Server 7.8 or later


Instructions

A. Obtain NMS System Diagnostics File

Log onto your existing NMS instance.

When using a CLS or physical dongle license, this step can be omitted.

Browse to Admin Actions, Diagnostics.

Click Save a diagnostics file.

Truncating the diagnostics file is optional and will not affect Rampiva Licensing.

B. Acquire Nuix Worker License

Launch Nuix Workstation and log in with appropriate credentials.

Select the Nuix license from the list that you want to license with Rampiva Automate.

Select any number of workers when choosing your Nuix license.

Select the Rampiva Workflow application from the Scripts menu. The license validation screen will appear.

Select Copy License Info from the license validation screen.

The license information will be copied to the clipboard.

C. Submit the License Request

Prepare an email to support@rampiva.com with the copied license information and attached NMS diagnostics.

When using a CLS license or physical dongle license, the NMS diagnostic logs are not required.

Rampiva Support will reply with a corresponding license file or key.

D. Update Rampiva License

From Nuix Workstation, select the Rampiva Workflow application from the Scripts menu. The license validation screen will appear.

If the license validation screen does not appear, select Help About.

Select Update License.

If using a License ID and License Key fill in the values provided by Rampiva Support.

If using a License File, click Browse and select the license file provided by Rampiva Support.

Rampiva Workflow Designer should now be licensed.

Browse to the Rampiva Automate webpage

In the Settings → Rampiva License screen, select Update License.

If using a License ID and License Key fill in the values provided by Rampiva Support.

If using a License File, click Browse and select the license file provided by Rampiva Support.

Rampiva Scheduler should now be licensed.
